Study programme’s generic objectives

 

This course offers training in six semesters, being privileged a solid background in basic sciences, namely in Mathematics and Computer Science, focusing on the teaching of such training in close coordination with the specialty areas of the course that are computer systems, computer networks, interactive multimedia environments, computational intelligence and multimedia processing systems.

Our graduates are qualified to pursue the professional activity in Informatics Engineering, and may exercise it as technical staff in companies or as independent professionals, being able to develop activities related with management, quality, design or manufacturing processes.
