Intended learning outcomes

  1. Study and interpretation of harmonic oscillators.
  2. Study and application of Laplace transforms.
  3. Resolution of EDO's associated with electrical circuits, subject to currents of various types, including pulse.
  4. Determination of impedances and transfer functions for linear electrical circuits continuous and discrete (z-transform).
  5. Interpretation of discrete systems as samples of continuous systems in equally-spaced time intervals.
  6. Using the z-transform to determine the stability of discrete systems and to solve difference equations.
