Intended learning outcomes
  1. To use recombinant DNA technology and new molecular tools for overproduction of recombinant proteins and regulation of gene expression.
  2. To Exploit PCR technique e several novel applications of this technique.
  3. To understand the basic principles of production of genomic and cDNA libraries, mapping, gene expression and mutagenesis
  4. To exploit methodologies and computational analysis in Molecular Biology.
  5. To understand the role of recombinant DNA technology in several fields such as Environment, Agriculture, Bio-industry and Medicine.
  6. To recognize the social and ethical impacts of the use Genetic Engineering.
  7. Understand the applications of molecular biology on the molecular diagnosis.
