Intended learning outcomes

The course aims at building skills to support:

  1. robot manipulator programming for palletizing tasks;
  2. selecting programming structures to address different task scenarios;
  3. debugging and optimizing robot control programs;
  4. the identification of hardware and software components of robotic systems and diagnosing failures in the main components;
  5. analysing and integrating Flexible Manufacturing Systems;
  6. designing simple image processing systems for feature extraction;
  7. identifying the main problems in mobile robots control and implementing simple strategies to address them.
