Professor Alexandra Rodrigues (DEM/ISEL) was honored with the international Teacher Award - Winner 2024-2025, granted by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), for the work developed in the area of ​​environmental sustainability, in collaboration with ISEL students and the community.

She was an advisor to the ISEL Board of Directors for the area of ​​sustainability and coordinator of the ISEL Eco-Schools | EcoCampus Program between 2021 and 2024, having led several environmental education initiatives and involvement of the academic community in sustainable practices.

This international recognition recognizes the exceptional contribution of teachers who promote education for sustainable development, through pedagogical actions and projects with a real impact among students and society.

The Foundation for Environmental Education, headquartered in Copenhagen and founded in 1981, is one of the largest global organizations in the area of ​​environmental education, with more than 100 associated organizations in 81 countries. FEE coordinates leading programs at a global level, such as Eco-Schools | EcoCampus, LEAF and Young Reporters for the Environment.

ISEL is grateful for this distinction, which recognizes the work carried out in the area of ​​sustainability and reinforces the Institute's role in promoting responsible and conscious practices in higher education.
