ISEL was present at the International Construction Fair, Tektónica 2025, which took place between April 10th and 12th at FIL, in Lisbon. Professor Alexandra Costa, Vice-President of ISEL for Infrastructure and Equipment and professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, was part of the judging panel for the Tektónica Innovation Award 2025, and had the honor of presenting one of the awards.

The award, held annually, distinguishes products, solutions and services that stand out for their innovation, sustainability and applicability in the construction sector. The 2025 edition had the participation of dozens of companies and projects, distributed in different categories, such as Bath, Kitchen, External Equipment, Energy Efficiency, New Materials, among others.

Professor Alexandra Costa was responsible for delivering the award in the "Machinery and Equipment" category, granted to the company Nacionalrev, Lda for its innovative I.GEO BOX solution, developed to combat capillary humidity in buildings. This distinction recognizes the technical merit and relevance of innovation in the construction sector.

ISEL's presence at this event reinforces the institution's commitment to innovation and technological development in the engineering sector, as well as its active role in recognizing and valuing technical and scientific excellence in Portugal.
