Professor Alexandra Costa, Vice-President of ISEL and member of the coordination team for the postgraduate Specialization in Railway Engineering, represented ISEL at the 6th edition of the Portugal Railway Summit,, organized annually by PFP – Plataforma Ferroviária Portuguesa - Cluster da Ferrovia, which took place on May 21 and 22, 2025.
The event, held at the National Railway Museum in Entroncamento, brought together decision-makers, experts, companies and higher education institutions in a space for reflection and debate on the present and future of the railway sector in Portugal. This edition had the motto “This train cannot stop!”, highlighting topics such as innovation, sustainability, digitalization and the importance of training and qualification of human resources in the development of a modern and efficient railway.
ISEL's participation, through Professor Alexandra Costa, reinforces the institution's commitment to advanced training in railway engineering and to connecting with the production sector, actively contributing to the development of solutions and skills aligned with the country's strategic needs in this area.
