Upon completion of this CU it is intended that students will have acquired the knowledge on the main themes of Energy Transition. Therefore, students will be able to develop these themes within the scope of their thesis, integrating the tackled subjects on techniques and energy systems as part of Decarbonization and Energy Transition. Furthermore, students will also show understanding of these subjects by presenting some of these themes orally in class and preparing monographs and synthesis works. Specifically, students should be able to:

1. understand the importance of the different contributions for Energy Transition and their relevance in order to deal with climate change and a sustainable world.
2. derive relationships between energy sources.
3. efficiently communicate on problems and solutions related to the subjects tackled.
