Intended learning outcomes

At the end of the curricular unit, students will be able to:

LO1. Operate and configure control platforms (Mission Planner, QGC) using the MAVLink protocol for route automation and autonomous flight execution.
LO2. Apply programming concepts to develop scripts and algorithms for the control and automation of UAVs and UGVs.
LO3. Execute complete photogrammetry workflows, from mission planning to the generation and analysis of orthomosaics and 3D models.
LO4. Implement autonomous navigation methods and integrate AI techniques for perception and decision-making in robotic systems.
LO5. Design data integration architectures between autonomous systems, GIS, and cloud processing pipelines.
LO6. Develop and validate engineering solutions for integrated autonomous missions, demonstrating the ability to solve complex automation problems.
