Intended learning outcomes

This unit aims to provide a fundamental knowledge of Electromagnetism, envisaging its future application in more advanced subjects; simultaneously, laboratory activities will expose the students to different measurement techniques and calculus software. The students will learn the basic laws ruling the electric and magnetic fields and its propagation in space as electromagnetic waves. The students will learn how to solve problems related to electric and magnetic fields; furthermore, they will learn how to interpret and analyze experimental data acquired in the laboratory, exemplifying electromagnetic laws and phenomena.
