Intended learning outcomes

  1. To solve numerically, using and developing an already acquired computational language (Excel, MATLAB), simple physical systems described by discrete equations, ordinary or partial differentials.
  2. Know the fundamental notions associated with the dynamic systems: fixed points, cycles, bifurcations and transition to chaos.
  3. Know the fundamental notions associated with numerical stability. Von Neumann analysis.
