Intended learning outcomes

Upon completion of this course unit, the student will be able to:

  1. understand and describe the anatomical and functional organization of the human body, correlating the form, the function and the regulatory mechanisms of the various organs and systems;
  2. perform and interpret simple assays with clinical application in the functional evaluation of various organs and systems;
  3. apply the knowledge acquired to new situations, being able to interpret, analyze and intervene in anatomical and physiological processes of human behavior and namely predict drug effects in various organs and systems, based on information concerning their mechanism of action.
