- Describe the recommendations in ISO 55000 and PAS 55;
- Understand the concepts RAMS, LCC and RCM;
- Learn how to design and manage a modern maintenance organization;
- Learn the concepts of function, failure of function, causes, effects and consequences;
- Elaborate FMEA analysis;
- Code an equipment and its components based on the ISO 14224;
- Learn the various maintenance policies;
- Assess the risk of failures and evaluate alternative courses of action;
- Calculate the optimal time interval of systematic maintenance policy in the perspective of minimum cost or maximum availability;
- Calculate the optimal calendar of inspections when performing conditional maintenance policy off-line and continuously adjust it as new data is gathered over time;
- Build a dashboard to continuously assess the maintenance;
- Assess the feasibility of an overall or technological upgrade;
- Determine when a piece of equipment must be replaced on economic grounds or technological obsolescence.
