Intended learning outcomes

Students who complete this course should be able:

  1. Present the basic geometric concepts required to describe and study the main algorithms of computational geometry;
  2. Recognize some of the principal areas of application of computational geometry, such as robotics, voice and pattern recognition, geographic information systems,...
  3. Identify the geometric algorithms relevant to the problem at hand and evaluate their efficiency;
  4. Describe the algorithms studied in the course and be able to implement them in a suitable programming language.
