Regardless of the sector of society, there is no way to ignore the importance of data in today's world. The good performance of any entity, whether public or private, involves defining strategies and making decisions that are heavily dependent on data processing and analysis. This task uses relatively sophisticated statistical and mathematical techniques, but whose specialization is compatible with short-term intensive training. The growing digitization further reinforces the dependence of the labor market on professionals specialized in this area, a dependence that will be felt in the very long term. A bet on this formation is thus a bet on the future.
The postgraduate Mathematics for Data Science (MCD) offers its students an advanced, in-depth and specialized training in Data Science, an area that most curricula do not have the opportunity to develop properly. Equipping students with the necessary statistical and mathematical techniques to develop solid skills in this field and relying on a highly qualified teaching staff, as well as the possibility of crediting the Master in Applied Mathematics for Industry at ISEL, this course is an added value in a area that continues to grow and that verifies a significant shortage of specialized resources.
Classes
- Classes take place between September 2022 and June 2023.
- The course lasts for 30 weeks, with a total of 405 contact hours.
- Classes take place in person, at ISEL's facilities, and after work hours, from Monday to Friday, between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm.

Tuition Fees
The amount of the MCD fee is €1050. Payment is made in two installments, the first in the amount of €525, paid upon registration, the second in the amount of €525, paid by 12/23/2022.
