André da Silva Mendes, nascido em Castelo Branco em setembro de 1985, é Licenciado (2016) e Mestre (2024) em Engenharia Informática e de Computadores pelo Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL).
Desde 2026 desempenha funções de Assistente Convidado no Departamento de Engenharia Informática do ISEL, onde leciona a Unidade Curricular de Projeto Final da Licenciatura em Engenharia Informática e Multimédia (LEIM).
Além das atividades relacionadas com o ensino, trabalha na Universidade Aberta como especialista de sistemas e tecnologias de informação.

André da Silva Mendes, born in Castelo Branco in September 1985, holds a BSc (2016) and an MSc (2024) in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the Lisbon School of Engineering (ISEL).
Since 2026, he has been serving as an Invited Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DEI) at ISEL, where he teaches the Final Project course unit of the Informatics and Multimedia Engineering BSc (LEIM).
In addition to his teaching activities, he works at Universidade Aberta as an Information Systems and Technologies Specialist.
