Current global concerns in the field of sustainability, most particularly in the energy sector, and the enormous challenges facing this sector, result in a pressing need for highly qualified professionals.
ISEL’s postgraduate course in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management (EGER) is aimed at those who work in companies operating in the field of renewable energy, as well as at students who have recently completed their bachelor or master degrees and wish to work in this sector. With a comprehensive curriculum and a highly qualified faculty, EGER is a unique opportunity to receive advanced training in the field of renewable energy and developing skills in the technological fields of renewable energy, and energy and environment management and economics.
The teaching component of this postgraduate course takes place between September and July, followed by a two-month internship or final project. EGER counts with the collaboration of relevant actors in this field, such as EDP Renewables, REN - National Electrical Network, and LNEG - The National Laboratory of Energy and Geology. They co-organize complementary seminars, arrange for specialists affiliated with them to lecture in our course, and make their facilities available for technical visits.
Requirements
ISEL’s postgraduate course in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management is aimed at students trained in this field (or related fields) and at professionals who already work, or intend to develop their professional activity in it, namely:
• Holders of a bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in Engineering, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Physics or related field;
• Individuals whose academic, scientific or professional background/curriculum is recognized as attesting their ability to succeed in this post-graduate course.
