Intended learning outcomes
The student should be able to:
- Understand the concept of disaster risk governance in its various dimensions;
- Understand and identify the main actors involved in disaster risk governance at national and international level, as well as their respective competencies and responsibilities;
- Examine and distinguish the roles of the different stakeholders in disaster risk governance, i.e. students can learn about the importance of communication and collaboration between government agencies, NGOs and relevant international organizations;
- Acquire skills in critical analysis and problem solving related to disaster risk governance.
