Intended learning outcomes

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  1. Understand the computational model and architecture of an operating system;
  2. Discuss the relevant aspects relating to the implementation of the key concepts of an operating system;
  3. Know the main entities (objects) of the operating system and how they can be integrated into programs through system calls;
  4. Develop programs that incorporate functionality exported by operating system programmatic interfaces.
