Intended learning outcomes
The aim of this curricular unit is to enable students to acquire scientific knowledge in the area of collection and transport of municipal waste, considering technical, economic, regulatory and business aspects. The students must acquire knowledge to develop and implement a waste collection system, as well as his management.
After aproval in the UC, the students must have the skills for:
- Designing collection systems for municipal waste
- Draw up municipal waste management plans
- Understand and apply national legislation related with integrated management of municipal waste
- Develop and implement information and awareness programmes.
