Intended learning outcomes
This course unit has a dual purpose: to allow students to deepen the knowledge acquired in other courses about Computer networks and allow students to acquire additional knowledge, theoretical and practical, with the objective of to be able to obtain a professional certifications in computer networks of small and medium enterprises. Topics are taught that, not being part of the program from other disciplines, are essential for obtaining professional certifications. The unit has a high laboratorial component.
When the students finish this Curricular Unit (UC) they competence to do projects of network of small and medium size and install, configure and manage the necessary network equipment.
