Intended learning outcomes
A student that successfully completes this course unit will be able to:
- Prepare and maintain a router/firewall system based on open-source components and provide the services typically found on ISP CPEs or supporting the base networking on SMB market.
- Use advanced networking on virtualized environments executing routers or servers, taking use of techniques to optimize the execution and hypervisor integration.
- Develop and/or maintain systems supporting the basic networking as automatic address assignment (DHCP), DNS domains, VPNs and AAA systems (RADIUS).
