Luís Redondo received the B.Sc. and Dipl. Ing. Degrees in Electrical Engineering from ISEL, in 1990 and 1992, respectively. The M.Sc. degree in Nuclear Physics from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa.
He is a professor at the Electrical Department of ISEL, where he teaches Power Electronics and Fundamentals of Pulsed Power, from the M.Sc, in Electrical Engineering, MEE, which he coordinates. In addition, he coordinates the Pulsed Power Advanced Applications Research Group, GIA2P2, at ISEL. His current research interests include pulsed power systems for industrial applications.
Besides the activity at ISEL, he is managing partner of “EnergyPulse Sysetms”, EPS, company, and Vice-President of the “Association for the Advancement of Pulsed Power”, A2P2.
