The Department of Electrotechnical Engineering, Energy and Automation (DEEEA) promotes the transmission of knowledge in Electrotechnical Engineering and related fields, and it is constantly searching for innovation and development in emerging areas at a global level, namely the development of alternative sources of energy and industrial automation.

The DEEEA carries out teaching activities leading to bachelor’s and master’s degrees, supports postgraduate training and research, and provides services to the community. The department’s faculty combines academic knowledge with professional experience and its labs ensure the effectiveness of the practical component of our teaching. Our goal is the excellence of our students, who are to be a reference in the national business context. The knowledge imparted to our graduates is essential in solving the varied challenges related to the technological and sustainable development of our society.

The DEEEA's responsibility, professionalism and dedication are rewarded with the level of excellence achieved by its graduates, whose employability rate is around 100%.
